How to transfer contacts from Apple iPhone 4 to Samsung Galaxy
Transfer contacts from your Apple iPhone 4 to the cloud server
We used PhoneCopy.com service for this guideline. Using it, your can backup your contacts easily. The whole backup, including the settings, can be done in several minutes.
Run the Apple AppStore on your iPhone and search for PhoneCopy application (or PhoneCopy3G for older phones), which you can download free of charge (we've been using version 1.02 in this tutorial). After downloading and installation, go through following steps.
Now you can start the first synchronization on your iPhone to backup your data to PhoneCopy server
And now it's time to transfer data to your Samsung Galaxy
Download PhoneCopy for Android to your Android phone (VERSION 2.2 and higher ONLY), which you can download free of charge. After downloading and installation, go through following steps.
Run the app, fill in your username and password. Here you can check where will be stored contacts from PhoneCopy. In case you are Premium user, you can upload SMS as well.
After successful login, press "Advanced & Account". Select "One-way sync" and after choose "Server >> this device".
Contacts from server will be copied to your phone in few seconds.
Once everything is done, check your data on the web. Login to PhoneCopy webpage and you will see brief review of all data transferred from your device. With another mouse click, you can review the change of each particular item.
Some additional tips:
Just as a reminder, the contacts are transferred via your mobile phone service provider, so you need to have data plan activated for the service to work. If you don't have a special data scheme, your carrier will charge you additional fees.
